Design Lab by Lord & Taylor

*Today's post is in collaboration with Lord & Taylor via Shopping Links.

Photography by Madi Flournoy Henderson

This season I've been on the hunt for a great pair of new black skinny jeans and something plaid.  During my search, I was looking for a pair of jeans that were slightly distressed, that had great stretch to them, that had a bit of a higher rise, and that were super flattering.  And when looking for plaid...I just knew that I simply did not need another plaid button down top!

Thankfully I found the PERFECT pair of black distressed skinny jeans at Lord & Taylor.  I have heard a lot of wonderful things about their brand, Design Lab, so I decided to shop for a few pieces online.  And I've got to say that I was so impressed when my Design Lab pieces arrived!  Many of you know how hard it can be to find jeans that you love and it is safe to say that I LOVE these jeans (and you will LOVE the price too)!

In addition to my new black skinny's, I picked up this plaid asymmetrical jacket.  I was immediately drawn to the burgundy plaid and the overall look of the jacket.  I paired my jacket with this basic white boyfriend tee, however I also wear this jacket over light sweaters.  Layer your look as much as you would like...this jacket is the perfect piece to do that with!  If you love plaid pieces as much as I do, this is a great addition to your wardrobe!

If you haven't shopped at Lord & Taylor recently, I encourage you to take some time either in store or online...I'm sure you will be just as impressed as I have been.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

*Special thank you to Lord & Taylor & Shopping Links for teaming up for today's post.  It is partnerships like these that make KBStyled possible.

Pink Poncho + Gift Guide for Her: Under $50

PINK PONCHO C/O (ALSO COMES IN TURQUOISE) // WHITE BUTTON DOWN // JEANS // BELT //  BOOTS (UNDER $40) // BAG C/O // EARRINGS C/O

Yes today is Monday, but guess what, I actually don't mind because I have a short week...YAY!  Only a couple days of work and then off with my little family for the rest of the week.  Hope many of you are also taking time off to enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends!

We actually broke out the Christmas decorations over the weekend and we started decking the halls!  Because Thanksgiving is later this year, I am all for decorating a bit earlier.  Of course we still have some pumpkins out, etc BUT we also have some Christmas lights up!

You know how the turkey isn't just the turkey anymore and some people like to eat something called a turducken?!  Well decorating early is kind of like that, we cross over Thanksgiving and Christmas...I call that Thanksmas!

I'm excited to be sharing this pink poncho with you!  Isn't it so fun?!  As you know from earlier posts, I absolutely LOVE ponchos and I love that this pretty pink poncho is so different from the rest of the ponchos in my closet.  And it comes in turquoise too!

I've styled this poncho with a crisp white button down and some black accessories to compliment the pink and navy.  Of course I belted it off with a thin black belt, which is typically how I like to wear my ponchos but this one looks adorable unbelted too!

I've also put together a GIFT GUIDE FOR HER and all items in my holiday gift guide are UNDER $50!  My top picks include things such as a Kate Spade 2016 planner, a gorgeous plaid Vera Bradley scarf, my favorite Bobbi Brown lip trio, etc.  CLICK ON IMAGES TO SHOP and stay tuned for more gift guides!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by...have a great Monday y'all!

Green Plaid Sweater Cardigan + Top Holiday Sweater Picks

PLAID CARDI SWEATER // BELT // FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS // HEELS // SUNNIES // BAG C/O

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen this green plaid sweater cardi a time or two!  This sweater cardi has become one of my favorite Fall pieces...I really can't get enough of the green plaid and how warm, cozy, and practical this sweater is.

It is so versatile too...wear it belted or unbelted to achieve different looks.  This sweater would also look super cute over a black & white striped tee (I always love mixing patterns) for a more casual look or over a a crisp white button down for a more classic timeless look.  The options are truly limitless!

I also encourage you to consider this sweater for those ladies that are on your holiday shopping wish list!  This type of sweater suits all body types and all ages so it would make the perfect gift for all stylish ladies in your life!

Open sweater cardigans and ponchos are on trend this season so I have put together a list of some others that would also make a great gift this holiday season!
