Hi everyone!  It's Friday and I couldn't be more happy...tonight our son Reins graduates from Pre-K (insert tears)!  In just a couple of short weeks, he will be starting Kindergarten (insert more tears) and embarking on the next chapter of his school age experience.  So many Momma's have told me that time passes so fast once they are in elementary school...sigh, I can't even think about it because we are watching him grown up right before our yes (time please slow down).  I'm also excited for him because there are so many great life experiences yet to come but I also wish he could always be my baby boy!  Wish me luck tonight in hopes that I can keep it together...at least I'll be on the same boat with many other Momma's as we sail our sappy ship through a sea of (happy) tears.

Moving on to this AMAZING "hanky" skirt!  First and foremost...it is on sale for ONLY $24 (in all sizes)!!!  Need I say more?  No really...this is one of those skirts that you can wear now and wear later.  Styled for summer with open toe sandals and a tank and then styled for fall with a light weight sweater and booties.  The movement of this skirt is absolutely gorgeous too!  I am all about versatile and transitional pieces and this skirt gets an A+ in both categories!

What transitional versatile pieces are in your closet?!

It's Friday y'all...lets all revel in its glory and enjoy!  As always, thanks so much reading!

L. Mae Boutique Orange Tribal Print Dress

| OUTFIT DETAILS

DRESS: L. MAE BOUTIQUE C/O | FRINGE BAG: THE SHOPPING BAG C/O | NECKLACE: DRIFT MODERN C/O (EACH PIECE IS HANDCRAFTED & ONE OF A KIND...SIMILAR NECKLACE HERE) | BRACELETS: TRIBE & GLORY C/O | DRUZY RING: WRENN JEWELRY C/O (CODE "KBSTYLED" SAVES YOU 15%) | EARRINGS: DRIFT MODERN C/O (EACH PIECE IS HANDCRAFTED & ONE OF A KIND...SIMILAR HERE)

If there is one word to summarize my style this summer it has to be DRESSES!  Add an adjective in there and it would be COMFORTABLE DRESSES!  Add one more adjective and it would be FLOWY COMFORTABLE DRESSES!  I think you all get the picture...I would rather wear a dress over anything else during the hot summer months.  They breath and allow for ease of movement AND they are just plain comfortable to wear.  Dresses are so feminine and beautiful too.

While on family vacation last month I had the opportunity to meet the lovely ladies at L. Mae Boutique in Pawley's Island, SC.  It just so happens that the owner of L. Mae also went to Clemson University, GO TIGERS, so we immediately had something in common!  She and her team are just so fabulous and they were a real pleasure to meet.  As I browsed around the boutique I was immediately drawn to this fly away orange tribal print dress.  It is orange, which I love, it has the most beautiful embroidered like textured tribal print detail around the neckline, it has a tassel tie AND it is flowy and super comfortable.  It basically is the perfect little summer dress...need I say more?!  Here is a glimpse back to another L. Mae Boutique dress that I have styled...check it out HERE!

To finish off this boho-chic look, I've added my go-to fringe backpack and some gorgeous handcrafted pieces from Drift Modern.  Their pieces are one of a kind and are simply BEAUTIFUL!  A love for nature, design, and art is incorporate into each and every piece.

We've made it to hump day, YES!!!...have a great day and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Bliss at Kohl's

Hi everyone!  Yet another weekend has flown by!  We spent a lot of time out by our pool over the last two days and we had a family date night on both Saturday and Sunday night.  Our kiddos love going to "special dinner" as we call it and I'm starting to think it is mainly for the desserts...but I can't say that I blame them. ;-)  Hoping you all had a great weekend as well!

Weekends are always great for getting in a little shopping as well.  I'm always in and out of Kohl's and a few weeks ago I discovered that Kohl's is now carrying "bliss" products, which I am so thrilled about!  I've always loved their products but they weren't always easily accessible and now...THEY ARE, YAY.  BRAVO Kohl's for picking up this line...you have now given me yet another reason to shop at your store (although I really didn't need another reason)!  Bliss offers spa like products that are luxurious without the steep steep price tag and again, as a woman in her mid 30's excellent yet affordable skincare products is super important to me.  During one of my recent visits to Kohl's, I stocked up on some of my favorites and I'm so excited to share them with you!

bliss Blood Grapefruit + Aloe Pepper Soapy Suds Body Wash
*what I love most about this body wash is its AMAZING scent...it is so fresh & fragrant and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth!

*this is the perfect complement to the body wash...it is thick yet not sticky, it absorbs quickly leaving your skin super soft and moisturized and just like the body wash, it smells AMAZING (leaving you smelling so fresh & clean)

*one of my absolute favorite bliss products...I use this nightly to get rid of the dead skin cells on my lips before putting on lip moisturizer.  I also use this before applying any matte lipstick to help give a smooth full lip appearance.  Can I just say that it smells good enough to eat...think cotton candy!

*well, what can I say...I'm trying to prevent sagging skin on my neck & chest area.  It's never too early to use preventative products and I'm all about this cream.  I apply this nightly under my chin, on my neck, and on my chest...I'm determined to maintain a "Thinny Thin Chin"!

*this mask is so invigorating...I use this a couple times a week, usually when I am soaking in our tub. A drop of this will develop into a nice rich lather and you will want to leave it on for 5-10 minutes.  I always leave on longer because it feels so great.  It tingles and you can feel the oxygen just taking over your skin.  My face always feels so refreshed and renewed after using this mask.

*the dream cream...the little vitabead's are power packed with vitamin E and this cream is a perfect daily cream.  I put this on in the morning and it awakens my skin.  The vitabeads just melt into your skin...it's pretty amazing.  This cream makes my skin feel smoother and appear brighter!

*if I could only use one "bliss" product...this would be it!  These little pads are like getting a professional facial at home.  They contain glycolic acid which targets all of those imperfections (fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, etc.)!  You can use 1 pad every night, however I spread mine out as to not dry my skin out.  My skin responds so well to this little miracle working pads!

So there you have it...please let me know if you have any questions about the products I've highlighted above!  I'm certainly not a pro but I can definitely tell you what works well for me and share more about my personal experience.  Have you ever tried "bliss" products?  If so, which product is your favorite?!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and have a great start to your week!

Special thank you to Kohl's/Bliss for the opportunity to share my love of their products.  All opinions are my own.  Thank you to all for supporting those who support KBStyled.

We made it...it's FRIDAY!  This week flew by and I just can't believe we are approaching August so quickly.  I was telling my Hubby last night that it seems like it was yesterday that we were stuck indoors with inches upon inches of snow on the ground.  Time needs to SLOW DOWN!

Outside of dresses, I could live in maxi skirts during the summer months.  I absolutely love the feel of a beautiful maxi skirt...they flow, they fit my figure, and they are versatile.  When I came across this orange maxi skirt I fell in love and knew it would be nicely paired with light blue (another option...navy/white striped top).  Most people aren't drawn to orange but I can say...here in TN, that is a color of choice, especially during football season. ;-)

A lot of people turn their cheek at orange because they don't feel that they look good in this color or that they can pull it off.  If this is you, I recommend trying it on bottom (so it isn't right by your face) or try wearing pops of orange with your accessories...it really is a fun cheerful color and it may be time to step outside of your comfort zone!

Also, I wanted to share with you all that I have been test driving Ditto's "Endless Eyewear" program and I have been so pleased with their selection of designer sunglasses and their excellent customer service.  Ditto offers a subscription service that allows you to rent designer sunglasses/eyewear with the option to buy if you wish...it is a great way to test drive as many pairs as you would like without having to make a commitment up front  AND, Ditto is so gracious to offer my supporters their first month FREE...code "KBSTYLED" is all you need to try this service for yourself.  These Ray-Ban "Erika" sunnies are my next pick to wear...can't wait to give them a try!

MOTT 50 - SUN PROTECTIVE FASHION

Seems like everywhere I go lately it has been SOOO HOT and not to mention humid too!  I'm not complaining because I absolutely love summertime and so do our children…if they could swim every day, probably multiple times per day, they would!  They love being outdoors and they love swimming and playing in the pool.  So far this summer, we have spent a lot of our time in the water and I know we will continue to do so until our neighborhood pool closes.

Because we love playing outdoors so much, especially by our pool, it is important that our children are protected from the sun.  Not only do we lather on sunscreen but we almost always have our children in some type of sun protective gear.  Mott 50 has us covered!  Their fashionable sun protective gear protects our children from harmful UV rays since their pieces have a UPF 50 coating.  Their clothes are comfortable, well made, affordable, and super stylish...believe it or not, its not just for your kiddos either!  They have some gorgeous pieces for women too…from coverups, to dresses, to active wear, and accessories…Mott 50 will have you covered too!

Being a Mom in my 30's, I have realized not only how important it is to protect my children but also how important it is to protect my own skin!  The signs of aging start showing up in your late 20's/early 30's and if you haven't made an effort to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, unfortunately you will start to see the repercussions of all of that fun in the sun.  For several years I have been diligent about wearing sunscreen and now I have included protective clothing/hats into my outdoor attire.  I almost NEVER go outside for an outdoor activity without sunscreen and a hat on.  Again, it is never too soon to take great care of your skin!

Below, I'm sharing with you some of my favorite pieces from Mott 50 as well as what Reins & Addison are wearing in today's post.  Invest in yourself and protect your skin and as always thanks so much for stopping by!

You can follow along with Mott 50 too!
