A Golden Holiday - Gold Sequin Velvet Dress

Photography by Madi Flournoy Henderson

A subtle golden velvet backdrop with the most beautiful golden sequins...this dress is holiday perfection.  It is truly one of the most stunning sequin dresses I have ever worn.

This dress is figure flattering and is a complete showstopper!  Why not dress up this holiday season and feel beautiful doing so?!  I personally love to dress up on any occasion that I have.

Not only is this dress perfect for the holidays but is is perfect for so many other special events as well!  Even better...this price point!  This dress is one that you will have in your closet from year to year as it is such a classic style that will remain timeless.  A great investment piece if you ask me!

Do you have an fun holiday events that you will be attending this year?!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Merry & Bright in Pink Chiffon - Holiday Dress

Photography by Madi Flournoy Henderson

DRESS || COAT || HANDBAG || HEELS || RING

Your holiday season should be M E R R Y & B R I G H T and this pink chiffon dress is the perfect holiday dress for all of your upcoming festivities!

Not only is it perfect for the holidays (wear a shaggy faux fur jacket, heels, carry a clutch, and add some sparkle with your accessories) but it is also perfect for everyday wear (put on some tights, a great pair of black boots, and a moto jacket).

The color is the most happy feminine shade of pink (it makes me think of bubblegum) and the chiffon material effortlessly drapes around your body.

Keep in mind that this dress is not intended to be a fitted dress...it is intended to be loose fitting and airy.  For a size reference, I am wearing a size 4.  There is plenty of room to move around and feel totally comfortable in this chic dress!

So tell me...what will you be wearing this holiday season and how would you wear this pink chiffon dress?

As always, thanks so much for stopping by!  Happy Friday...hope you all have the best weekend ahead!

Show Stopping Holiday Dress with New York & Company

*Today's post was in collaboration with New York & Company via Shopping Links.

I love a beautiful show stopping dress that is versatile enough to wear for a variety of occasions.  Something that is perfect for those more formal occasions but casual enough to wear dressed down when your occasion may not call for as much glitz and glam.  And because we are in the heart of the holiday season, I'm also talking about a dress that is beyond perfect for all of your upcoming holiday parties!

This show stopping "Del Mar" dress from the Eva Mendes collection at New York & Company is a classic beauty that is sure to be a go-to dress in your wardrobe.  It is sleeveless, the material is thick and is such amazing quality, the birds of paradise print is unique and bold, the red color is bright and vibrant, and the fit is so flattering on so many body types!  OH...AND it has pockets!!!  It's perfect in my books.  PLUS, it is on SALE!!!

If you wish to add a bit more sparkle to this dress, add something like this gorgeous rhinestone buckle belt.  This dress looks absolutely gorgeous without a belt too!  I finished my look with these lace up strappy gladiator heels with pom detail!  How adorable are these heels?!  They are just so festive!

New York & Company has been one of my go-to destinations this holiday season for great gift ideas as well as for holiday perfect looks.  If you didn't catch my holiday gift guides, you can check them out HERE & HERE.

The Gingham Sweater Dress

| Photos | Catherine Truman Photo

Happy Friday friends!  I'm thinking we may ALL be excited that it is Friday and that the weekend is just few (hopefully short) hours ahead of us.

With the holidays upon us, weekend get togethers are on many of our calendars.  Our first is Saturday night and we will be joining several other couples for a great dinner at a new restaurant called Tupelo Honey.  Of course the girls organized a secret Santa gift exchange too!

I love dressing up this time of year for nights out with friends and holiday parties.  This Dainty Jewell's gingham sweater dress will be on repeat this holiday season.   I've already worn this dress to a couple of local events as well and I received so many compliments on it.  I'm pretty sure I will also wear this dress for Christmas Eve service as well!

There is so much to LOVE about this dress...the large gingham pattern (which is on trend), the fact that the dress is made of the softest sweater material, the beautiful ruffle detail around the neckline and sleeves, the tea length, the fact that it is not just beautiful but warm too, and the fact that it is super versatile!  Again, what's not to love?!

If you are looking for a beautiful classic dress for the holiday season and beyond, this dress is for you!  For a size reference, I'm wearing a size small.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I wish you all a great Friday and a beautiful weekend ahead!

Holiday Look - Dainty Jewell's Leopard Print Dress

Happy Friday friends!  As soon as Halloween is over, I begin to think about the upcoming Christmas holiday and all of the fun festive parties that are to come.

I begin my hunt for a few different holiday looks and I'm looking for something that will stand out!  Of course I always gravitate towards sequins (let's just be honest here...I LOVE sequins) but I also love a beautiful dress that is a little outside of the box like this leopard print dress from Dainty Jewell's.

Not only is this dress your "outside of the box" dress for all of those fun holiday parties but it is also a dress that you will wear time and time again for so many other occasions.  If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I wore this dress to the grand opening party of Reese Witherspoon's new store here in Nashville, Draper James.  This dress is a conversation starter and you will certainly be asked time and time again, "where did you get that dress?"!

Today, I am showing you how to take this dress and glam it up for the holidays (see the collages below).  My instinct is to grab emerald green, pink, or red pieces to compliment this fun yet classy leopard print.  I especially love emerald green paired with it and even wore some emerald green earrings to the Draper James event.

Not that this dress isn't spectacular on it's own and black heels will do just fine, but adding a pop of color here and there just makes it that much more fun!

Which color would you pair with this dress?!

Hope you have gotten some holiday outfit inspiration today and I can assure you, this dress will be in your closet for years to come!

As always, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday!
