How often do you wear green?  Me...not very often (well, at least not this shade of green)!  But I do love it and even thought to myself that I should wear it more often.  Not only do I love this pretty "spring green" color but I also love the ease & versatility of this dress.

It's just easy to wear...flattering, comfortable, & ideal for the workplace or for a date night.  I'll even wear this dress with my black & white Nike's while out running errands.  Shirt dresses are perfect for dressing up or dress down and for under $30, this is a must have piece for your wardrobe.

Casual Chic In Black & White

There are many times when "less is more" and I enjoy embracing the "less is more" philosophy from time to time!  Simple pieces can make a statement and when those simple pieces are as easy jeans and a tee, you can't go wrong.  And sometimes the attention can be mostly on your accessories, hence this bold Kendra Scott necklace and this amazing Ceri Hoover bag!

You will see these black distressed jeans on major repeat this fall as they are some of the most comfortable distressed denim that I own.  Like many of you I'm sure, I am all about distressed denim BUT I prefer my distressed jeans to be subtly distressed versus completely "destroyed"!  Plus the way I see it, the less holes, the warmer I stay as the weather cools down.

And I can't say enough about this v-neck pocket tee, which comes in a variety of colors AND is under $13!  I'm pretty sure I need one in every color considering I wear mine all of the time with jeans and I have even been caught wearing it around town with my workout leggings.  It is just one of those tees that I grab time and time again.

Do you ride the buffalo plaid train?!  I know I do...I couldn't get enough of it last fall and I find myself still craving it as this fall season approaches.  Lucky for me, L. Mae Boutique is speaking my plaid love language with this adorable cowl plaid neck dress.  

As the weather cools off more, I will be pairing this dress with some black leggings (maybe even faux leather leggings for an even more edgy look) and some tall boots.  If a dress isn't your thing...L. Black Dress, White Dots

You know those weeks when you are up late EVERY night because you have so much to do (raising both hands)?!  My eyes are heavy as I write this post and I am way overdue for a great night's sleep but I wanted to share with you this great end of season dress.  And needless to say...I couldn't be happier that it is Friday!

Picture this...a little black dress with white dots (or even the floral dress), tights, booties, and a faux leather jacket, denim jacket, or a chunky cardi sweater.  Gotta love a dress that can go from summer to fall with just a few additions.
