Breast Cancer Awareness Month + Kendra Scott

Today's post is dedicated to all of those brave women who are currently battling, who have formerly fought, and who may in the future be faced with a breast cancer diagnosis.  Today's post is especially dedicated to my mother-in-law, Caroline, who fought and won this battle many years ago.  How lucky I am to know and love her!

To honor, respect, and show my complete admiration for these strong, brave, resilient women...today I wear pink.

Did you know...

- Every 2 minutes, there is a new breast cancer diagnosis
- Every 14 minutes, a life is lost to the disease
- 85% of all diagnoses have no family history
- 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer
- Breast cancer is the leading cause of death in women between ages 40-55
- There are over 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States

When reading through these statistics, I couldn't help but get teary eyed just imaging the fight that so many women, and their loved ones, have fought.  Of course I couldn't help but think about all of the very important women in my life and how I can only hope that they (that I) will never have to battle breast cancer nor face it again on the battle field.

Join the fight...

I'm also filled with incredible pride to know a brand such as Kendra Scott that is a year-round partner of Susan G. Komen.  Every October, Kendra Scott and Susan G. Komen team up in the fight against breast cancer.

What's even more amazing is that our local Kendra Scott store in Nashville is teaming up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Nashville during Breast Cancer Awareness month to gift women who are undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer.

For every customer that purchases a pair of Danielle earrings (the earrings that I am wearing in these photos) or Elle earrings in "Rose Quartz" at the Nashville retail location, Kendra Scott will donate a pair of earrings to a woman undergoing treatment at a local breast cancer treatment center.  Nashville customers will also be encouraged to write a short note of encouragement to be sent along with the earrings that will be donated.

Join us in the fight against breast cancer here in Nashville and help us brighten the day of some very strong brave women!

To purchase the Danielle/Elle earrings in "Rose Quartz" you may simply visit our local Kendra Scott retail store or you may call our store directly at: 615-600-4353.

As always, thanks for stopping by...I truly appreciate your ongoing support!

  17. Given these conditions, the organizations that are putting forth poor credit advances need to secure themselves that is the reason the advances that they are putting forth have higher financing costs when contrasted with the customary advances. By and large, the terms and states of the advance is additionally somewhat stiffer when contrasted with the terms and states of general credits. usapaydayloanstore.com/chicago
