Dainty Jewell's Polka Dot Maxi Skirt + Kristine Lily

| Outfit Details

Maxi Skirt c/o | Top (similar here) | Earrings, Bangles, Ring c/o | Necklace (enjoy 20% off with code "Brooke20")

Happy Hump Day!  Summertime is definitely on it's way and I will be living in light flowy dresses and skirts…staying cool and comfortable is at the top of my priorities list!  Today, I'm styling (and doing a little twirling too in...) this gorgeous Dainty Jewell's maxi skirt.  Polka dots are so girly and I love the size of the dots on this skirt!  I also love the waistline, which makes this skirt feel more vintage/retro.  Designed to sit high on your natural waistline, this skirt will accentuate your curves beautifully!

I've paired this skirt with some nude heels, however you can wear sandals or wedges for a much more casual look.  Throw on a denim jacket for a those cooler late spring/early summer nights and you've easily dressed down this gorgeous skirt!

These gorgeous jewels are handmade by Kristine Lily and we will be teaming up this Thursday for an AMAZING Instagram giveaway, so be sure to check back!  Also, if you have been looking for the perfect personalized nameplate necklace, I've included a link above where you can shop this exact necklace as well as so many other unique personalized styles (code "Brooke20" will save you 20% off your order too)!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Hump Day!  Also, be sure to check out some of my AMAZING Blogger friends below through our "On Wednesday's We Wear" Linkup!

Hot Pink Shift Dress

| Outfit Details |

Dress c/o | Necklace c/o | Bracelet | Sunnies (similar here) | Heels (similar here)

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend and to all of you Momma's out there who celebrated Mother's Day, I hope your day was very special!  Over the weekend, my Hubby and I tried a new restaurant here in Nashville called Moto (Italian goodness…oh my, it was soooo delicious!), our son had flag football & soccer on Saturday, we all went over to a friends house on Saturday night, and then yesterday we spent the day at the pool for Mother's Day and then had dinner out last night as a family.  I'm always so sad to see the weekend go and I always miss my babies when they are off at pre-school.

It is progressively getting a bit warmer here (well HOT & HUMID really) and I am beginning to wear more and more dresses…especially dresses that are a little more loose fitting!  This hot pink shift dress from L. Mae Boutique is so perfect for those hot summer days.  Not only do I LOVE the color but I also love the fit…again, loose and so comfortable!  The detailing of the sleeve and hemline adds visual interest to this adorable dress too.  When looking for summer dresses versatility is key and I almost always buy a dress that can be worn dressed up or dressed down.  Change this look into a more casual daytime/weekend look by putting on a pair of gladiator sandals or wedges and you are all set!  L. Mae Boutique has some really cute summer dresses and their price point is super affordable…definitely check them out!

Do you also love wearing dresses in the summer?!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope your week gets off to a great start!

Eliza J for Mother's Day

| Outfit Details

Dress c/o | Bangles/Ring/Earrings: Kristine Lily c/o | Bardot Spiral Bangle

Happy Friday y'all!  This morning I will be joining my kiddos for "Muffins with Mom" at school and they are just soooooo excited to have me eat breakfast with them (I'm pretty excited too ;-))!  My Hubby and I will also be having our weekly date night tonight…not sure where we will be off to just yet but I'm thinking an outdoor patio somewhere with some amazing food & drinks!

I always love Mother's Day as it typically is just me and my little family spending time together.  We will enjoy time just the 4 of us (well the 6 of us counting Cali & Carolina) as we don't have any other family that lives close by but we will be busy doing whatever the kiddos want to do (and maybe I will get to shop a little too)!

Today's post features this gorgeous Eliza J dress and some amazing handcrafted jewels from Kristine Lily!  What I love most about this dress is that it mixes my favorite two patterns…stripes & floral!  Not to mention, this dress has pockets…TOTAL WIN!  Eliza J makes the most beautiful high quality dresses that you will have in your closet for years to come.  They are classic dresses that you will find will also be a go to when looking for a special dress to wear!

AND how AMAZING are these handcrafted jewels from Kristine Lily?!  I can't tell you how much I love these pieces and how beautiful they are.  As you may know about me, I'm a little obsessed with jewelry (well A LOT obsessed) & I love supporting those who invest lots of TLC into their craft and Kristine Lily does exactly that.  These pieces are also pieces that you will have in your jewelry box for years and years…I even see these pieces as heirlooms to pass down to my Daughter one day!  Check out her line and stay tuned as we will be teaming up for an AWESOME giveaway to shop her line very soon!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful Friday!  If we don't chat before Mother's Day…HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of you FABULOUS Momma's out there!

Flared Jeans & A Striped Button-Up

| Outfit Details |

Jeans | Top (love this one here) | Necklace c/o | Eyewear | Tote ℅

Hi everyone!  I'm over here putting on my many hats prepping for a super busy day…Mommy duties first, then a lunch meeting, and later today I have two super FAB giveaways happening on Instagram (you don't want to miss these)!

Today's look was completely planned around this STATEMENT STUNNER & my new eyewear.  I've got to pause for a moment…who knew that my 30's would bring eyesight troubles…sigh.  Please tell me there is someone else out there that has also recently needed glasses?!  At least there are so many super cute fashionable styles available!  Wearing eyeglasses has never been more chic so I guess I can't complain…plus, I can totally see so much better!

I'm really loving that flared jeans are coming back in style (I still love you skinnies) and I have had these pair for a few years so all I had to do was look in my closet.  And this striped button-up top gives the feeling of a menswear inspired vintage top…it is structured (a little boxy, which I love), light (thin airy cotton material) and perfect for pairing with denim, shorts, or a skirt!

AND, it would be foolish not to talk about this necklace…I think I gasp every time that I look at it!  This bib style necklace is laced with gem after gem and it is surprisingly light and incredibly sparkly!  Whether dressed down or dressed up, I can assure you, you will get so much wear out of a necklace like this and you will definitely get lots of compliments on it too!  It is totally worth the investment!

So…are you loving flared jeans as much as I am?!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by…Happy Hump Day!

Leggings & A Blazer

Is it Friday yet?!  Yep, it may just be one of those weeks.  Kind of like when I was a kid and I asked my parents on our way to Disney World…"are we there yet, are we there yet"!  The best part of this week so far…the AMAZING weather we are having in Nashville…it is warm and sunny every day for the foreseeable future, which is such a much needed change after all of the rain we had in April.  Yes, I'm talking about the weather…sunshine makes me happy!

So, I have a little confession…this outfit was shot several weeks back before the trees had even bloomed and for whatever reason, I forgot about it!  I put together this look with Spring weather in mind (and let's be honest, the month of May is still considered Spring), so…not only is this look great for "now" but this look can easily transition into Summer with some open toe heels or sandals & a lighter/brighter colored tank (think turquoise blue, mint green, or even bright pink)!  I've linked similar options above and was able to link some of my accessories as well.  This long "Waterfall" necklace is part of my collection for Applee Jewelry too…it's such a gorgeous versatile necklace and it is ONLY $13.95!

BTW, I recommend that every gal have a white/off white blazer/relaxed open cardi blazer in their closet.  It will be that versatile piece that will carry you through Spring/Summer giving you a classic chic effortless look!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and for supporting KBStyled!

Byer California Mint Floral Lace Dress

| Outfit Details |

Dress c/o | Clutch | Earrrings c/o | Heels (similar here)

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  Ours was a lot of fun and as always, very busy!  We ate, we played, and we spent our Sunday afternoon with friends at Arrington Vineyards.  If you ever visit Nashville, you MUST visit these vineyards…carve out a little extra time during your stay to relax at the vineyards, listen to live music, enjoy the views, and drink some locally made wine!  Pack a picnic when you go too!

For today's look I am wearing this sweet feminine floral lace dress from Byer California.  I was recently introduced to this brand and what I love about them is that their clothing is so versatile (think perfect for the work week yet easily transitioned into the weekend too) and their price point is super affordable, ranging from $20-$68!  What I love about this dress is the soft mint backdrop with a sweet subtle floral print and the feminine lace detailing on the shoulders.  This dress is perfect with heels (think work, church, wedding, etc) or wear it with wedge sandals for a much more casual weekend look!

Hope you all have great start to your week…I am already starting the day a little behind so I am scrambling to catch up!  As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Friday y'all!  Phew, that feels good to say!  We have a beautiful weekend ahead of us with lots going on.  My Father-in-law is here with a couple of his buddies to ride bikes on the Natchez Trace Parkway (one of the most gorgeous natural state parks around) so we will be spending lots of time with him in between his bike rides.  Of course we have flag football on Saturday morning and soccer on Saturday afternoon, which just reminds me, I'm on duty for snacks and drinks after soccer (add that to today's to-do list)!  With the gorgeous weather we will be having, my guess is that we will be outdoors most of the weekend!

With our temperatures finally warming up, I think it is about time to put the booties up until Fall.  Our mornings have been pretty chilly still and the daytime highs haven't gotten out of the low 60's this week.  Those temps are too chilly for my piglets so for this look I chose to keep the booties on!  I picked up this dress from Target a few weeks back and I love the floral print, black trim, and 3/4 length sleeve.  This dress is on sale right now for less than $15 too!  I definitely recommend that you size up because it does have a tendency to fit a little more snug, especially if you have some curves like me.

AND, how pretty are these "Lavendar Drop Earrings", which just so happen to be part of my collection for Applee Jewelry?!  If you haven't checked out my collection yet, you should definitely head over to Applee Jewelry's site as I am sure you will like the pieces that we've selected!

Okay…a little long winded today so thanks for hanging around and reading today's post!  As always thanks for supporting KBStyled, your support puts a HUGE SMILE on my face.  If you wish to say "Hi" please leave a comment below so we can chat…have a wonderful Friday!
