Talk about a coat that I just want to live in!!!  This gorgeous Stephanie Coat in Sterling from Evy's Tree is classic and soooooo comfy!  The fit is perfection and the soft sterling grey color goes with everything. 

I will be wearing this coat all Fall season long and most likely, I will wear it into the winter months as well.  It is a perfect layering piece too...wear early Fall over a light tee, button down, etc and then in the winter months over a sweater.  The hood is also such a nice touch to keep warm during those chilly Fall/Winter days.

Getting a behind the scenes peek at the NASHVILLELIFESTYLES "25 Most Beautiful" photo shoot was such a great experience!  Grogan Jewelers by Lon was on site to outfit each nominee with their gorgeous jewels and when I say gorgeous...I mean GORGEOUS!

They pulled out all of the stops bringing pieces like multiple carat yellow and pink diamond rings to long strands of pearls to Tag Heuer watches.

I personally had a Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman" moment when I got to try on some of the stunning diamond pieces.  I can only imagine how the nominees felt as they were photographed wearing Grogan Jewelers by Lon pieces.

Finding cute comfortable shoes that don't break the bank is like eating two scoops of my favorite ice cream...it always leaves me feeling satisfied!

These adorable 3-strap pointed flats by Christian Siriano for Payless are chic, comfortable, and cost a fraction of what similar styles may cost elsewhere.  They are only $35!  This taupe color will go with so much this Fall season and I'm looking forward to wearing these flats with dresses too!

I'm also LOVING these ankle boyfriend skinny jeans!  These were one of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks and I've worn them many times already.  The raw-edge cropped hem and the relaxed fit of these jeans have easily bumped them to the top of my most loved pair of jeans!

Grey Ruffled Tee Dress & Over The Knee Boots

Oversized and sooooo comfy...I think I may just live in this Isabel Ruffled Tee Dress from Goodnight Macaroon!  There is just something so chic about purposeful slouchy oversized pieces.  I've worn this dress with sneakers too and it looks just as cute.  This Fall, I will be pairing this dress with a long sweater cardigan and booties as well as with my black moto jacket.

I was so excited to wear my over the knee boots for this look because believe it or not, these are my first pair of over the knee boots (insert #obsessed)!  Being 5'4" I didn't think I could pull off OTK boots, I thought my legs would get lost, but I've gotta say that I've put those concerns to rest.  I'm definitely not gaining any inches in the height department anytime soon so I'm embracing my new boots and will be rocking them all season long.

By the way, does anyone watch "The Night Of" on HBO?!  This show is one of our new favorites...it is a bit addictive.  If you are looking for a new show to try...give this one a go, there's a good chance you will end up hooked. ;-)

Shades of Blue with Storets

Deep blue with a touch of powder blue and an asymmetrical hemline...this "Nereida" dress from Storets steps up the color blocking game.

Although there is a bit of extra material, it is light, airy,and it moves beautifully when you walk (or dance or twirl if you prefer ;-)).

In my first post about Storets (HERE) I shared with you all that I love their pieces because they are unique...they are pieces that you definitely won't find elsewhere.  I also shared that the pieces I have tried so far run a bit larger and oversized, which is what is intended.  This dress comes in a small but I would say it runs a full size larger.

Going back to school is something that our kiddos get so excited about...thankfully they both LOVE school!  We always go back to school shopping and now that they are getting a little bit older, they like to pick out their clothes and then pick out a pair of matching shoes!

Ever since they were little, we always made a big deal about new shoes.  We would (and still do) tell them that their new shoes were super special because they would make them run faster and jump higher.  Any time they put on a new pair of shoes, they run around to show us how fast they can now run and this is followed by a jumping exercise to show us how high they can jump.  They are the fastest runners and highest jumpers we have EVER seen. ;-)

So as you can imagine, when their new KangaROOS from Payless arrived in the mail, they were beyond excited!  The shoes went on and out of the corner of my eye I saw two speedy little ones running past!  Next thing I knew, I saw them trying to put little toys in the pocket on the side of their shoe..."these are my new favorite shoes" Reins told me and Addison told me that she couldn't wait to show her new shoes to her friends at school.

I even tried a pair of KangaROOS and I've gotta say, they are sooooo comfortable!

As a Mom of two very active children who go through shoes rather quickly, KangaROO sneakers are such a great option!  They are comfy, the kids feel special wearing them, they are practical, and they are affordable...what more could you ask for?!

When two stars collide, a new star is born.  Maxi dresses and jumpsuits are stand out stars in my opinion and when they collide, a new star, the "maxi jumpsuit" is born! 

This blue floral maxi jumpsuit from Morning Lavender shines bright with it's soft floral print and blue tones.  The material flows beautifully when you walk too...it almost makes you feel like you are floating! 

This piece is truly a perfect piece for those tropical vacays.  Don't have a tropical vacay planned (don't worry, I don't either), you can still wear this maxi jumpsuit out for a night on the town, girls night out, or date night.  For a size reference, I'm wearing a size medium.  You can shop the maxi jumpsuit HERE.

This Maggy London "Eileen Cold Shoulder" dress is modern yet classic.  The cold shoulder gives this little black dress an updated look and the beautiful lace overlay adds lots of visual interest.  It's the perfect dress for a night out on the town, for a cocktail event, or even for a wedding.

To dress it up a bit more, wear your hair up, add a pair of statement earrings, and a clutch and viola...you've got a more formal look!

Wear Now Wear Later in Foi Clothing

I'm starting to gear up for Fall, which means I am looking for pieces that are wear now, wear later like this adorable dress from Foi Clothing!  

When thinking about pieces that you can wear now as the summer starts coming to a close and wear later into early Fall, think about shifting your color palette.  This little dress is perfect because it is black and it has little touches of Fall colors in the flowers.  When paired with booties (instead of sandals) and a great moto jacket, you now have a Fall ready look!  As the temps continue to drop, wear tights, knee high boots, and a long chunky sweater cardigan over a dress like this.

This particular dress must have been a hit because it has already sold out, however you should definitely check out Foi's site as they have recently added some really cute new arrivals!

And I've got to share with you all that this faux leather moto jacket was my absolute favorite purchase from the Nordstrom anniversary sale.  It is back, in all sizes (YAY), and it is under $100.  This is a purchase that you would not have buyers remorse over...I promise you that! ;-)
