Vanity Fair Fitting Experience And First Impressions

Photography by Madi Flournoy Henderson

Did you know that 8 out of 10 women wear the incorrect bra size?!  Apparently, I was one of those women #sigh.  I was recently invited to have a personalized bra fitting as part of Vanity Fair's Ambassador program and that is when the fit expert shared with me that I should actually be wearing a 34D instead of a 34C bra.  No wonder sometimes my cup runneth over...literally!

It was an ah-ha moment!  Although I was a bit surprised at the fit recommendation, the expert took her time explaining to me how a bra should truly fit and how it should feel.  As a Mom of two, my body has changed over the years and I've needed to make adjustments to my undergarments along the way.  I think many of us have experienced changes like this from time to time.  But what's important is that we are all wearing bras that fit well, that feel amazing, and that look great on (weather covered or uncovered).

Vanity Fair lingerie has been around for nearly 100 years and has maintained an unwavering focus on providing women with feminine and beautiful lingerie that offers support, lift, and elegance.  The bras are not just beautiful but they are also functional and practical for everyday wear.

At my fitting, I tried on several different styles and ended up selecting my two favorite, which are the "Comfort x 3" bra and the "Body Caress" bra.  These two particular styles fit me the best...they are amazing!

The "Comfort x 3" speaks for itself...it is beyond comfortable!   It has a no-poke underwire, stay in place straps, and smooth soft-covered clasps for all day comfort.  This particular style is available in sizes 36-38B and 34-40 C/D/DD.  I love wearing this bra because it stays in place and it doesn't dig into my sides...it is also so comfortable that I don't even notice that I have a bra on.

The "Body Caress" bra is supper soft and comfortable as well.  The contour cups offer extra support and shape and this bra looks great under everything.  I don't know about you, but I don't like for my bras to be noticeable under my clothes and this particular style gives a smooth seamless appearance.  It also has a no-poke wire and 2-way convertible straps.  This bra is also available in 36-38B and 34-40 C/D/DD.

I encourage you to take Vanity Fair's 3 step fit test (on their website) to ensure you are wearing the correct size bra!  If you decide to try their bras, let me know what you think!  I've had such a positive experience with their bras and I am certain that you will as well.

And you've got to check out Vanity Fair's "I'm Your Bra" clip too!  It is too cute and the references in the video are sooooo true!  I love the end when she says #girlfriends!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!

This post was in partnership with Vanity Fair lingerie, however all opinions are 100% my own.  It's partnerships like these that make KBStyled possible.  Thank you Vanity Fair!

  1. I'm definitely guilty of not changing up by bra size when I gain/lose weight or even after having a baby. It's probably about time I got re-fitted!
