FAIR CHILD FLORAL BOMBER JACKET

Photography by Madi Flournoy Henderson

Casual spring style has never been so easy...a floral bomber jacket paired with distressed boyfriend jeans and sneakers has most recently been my go-to casual weekend wear.  This gorgeous floral bomber from Fair Child can easily be dressed up too!  Take it from day to night by pairing it with a sleek dress, some heels, and a bold clutch.

And I love that Karen Fairchild of "Little Big Town" is the Designer behind her brand Fair Child.  She introduces a collection each Spring & Fall...you can see more of her collection HERE!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by...have a great start to your week!

Red Gingham Ruffle Top

Photography by Madi Flournoy Henderson

Red gingham with ruffles...this top gives me all the heart eyes!  There's something a little country about this top (all you Southern girls know what I mean) yet it is so modern and chic.  Gingham is trending this spring season and this top is the perfect transitional piece.

Pair it with a great pair of white skinny jeans and strappy open toe heels for a night out or with some distressed denim shorts and a pair of sneakers (love these) for an even more casual dressed down look.  This top also comes in a black & white gingham.

Are you on board with the gingham trend?!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by...hope you have a wonderful Friday!  TGIF!

Pink Bell Sleeve Cold Shoulder Top

Photography by Madi Flournoy Henderson

Bell sleeves, cold shoulder, and peplum all wrapped up into one pretty little package!  This gorgeous top is so feminine and floaty.  The high slits on the bell sleeve add an extra special touch and even more movement.  And how pretty is this soft pink color?!  It also comes in black and an ivory color with a subtle leaf print.

And I must share with you all that these boyfriend jeans are my absolute FAVORITE pair right now!  From the wash, to the perfectly ripped knees, to the overall fit...I simply cannot get enough of these and have been wearing them daily.  I love the wide cuff at the bottom as well...they really flatter my shorter frame.  You can wear them cuffed or un-cuffed.

What pieces are you loving for spring?!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great start to your week!

When the extended forecast says that it will be close to 90 all week long, it's hard to believe that the first day of Fall is this week!  Regardless of warmer temps, I definitely have Fall fever...who else is with me?!  We've had a wonderful summer but I am excited for the temps to cool off...it has been so hot and humid here lately.

Part of the reason I am so excited for Fall is so I can put my open toe shoes away and start wearing flats and boots!  Won't it be nice to not have to worry about whether or not your toe nail polish has chipped before putting on a pair of shoes?!  As much as I LOVE getting pedicures, I am going to enjoy not having to check my toe nails when getting dressed...a chip here or there won't hurt when I'm wearing my new Jenni Kayne "D'Orsay Flats" or "Mid Equestrian Boots".

The "D'Orsay Flats" are one of Jenni Kayne's signature styles and they are handcrafted in Italy with gorgeous Italian leather.  This classic flat will get a lot of wear this Fall season.  And I'm head over heels for these stunning "Mid Equestrian Boots".  I love that this equestrian boot fits just above the ankle with a very subtle heel.  Again, the leather is beautiful and soooo soft.  I'm excited to break these boots in and see how they soften even more over time.

Jenni Kayne's shoes are certainly an investment piece, however the investment is worth knowing that you will have a pair of amazing flats and/or boots for YEARS to come.  They are classic, chic, and comfortable!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by, hope you have a great start to your week!

Thank you to Jenni Kayne for partnering on today's post.  All opinions expressed are 100% my own.  It's partnerships like these that make KBStyled possible!

Boyfriends + A Little Sunshine

SWEATER || BOYFRIEND JEANS || BELT || BAG || HEELS (SIMILAR)

Yes it has been snowing here in Nashville this week and yes, it is cold...I mean, REALLY cold.  But that can't stop a girl from daydreaming about warmer weather.  After all, if Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow, spring must be right around the corner, right?!

Not only does Phil think spring is near, but so do all of my favorite retail stores.  As soon as the holidays are over, the stores are filled with spring styles so it is hard not to get spring fever.  I know I've got the fever...do you?!

Today's look is certainly spring inspired...a look that will transition nicely right into early spring.  I love the ease and simplicity of this sweater...it is super versatile and can be worn over a long sleeve top for those cooler days or just as shown when the temps being to warm up a bit.

And I have now found my absolutely FAVORITE pair of distressed boyfriend jeans!  Let me share the reasons why...distressed, painter, skinny ankle, relaxed fit, comfortable, they make my bum look good ;-) , and did I say comfortable?!  Need anymore reasons?!  One more...you can't beat the price!

Nothing says spring like bright colors, so I've added a pop of yellow here and there.  I've also completed this look with a great pair of nude heels!

Are you as ready for spring as I am?!  Now is the time to pick up some great transitional pieces and join me in daydreaming about warmer temps.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by...TGIF and cheers to the weekend ahead!
