All About Hoop Earrings with JTV.com

I was 8 years old when I got my ears pierced and I can remember only being able to wear stud earrings for the longest time.  My Mom didn't allow me to wear "dangly" earrings as I called them much less hoop earrings.  

I'm pretty certain I pestered my Mom until she allowed me to get my first pair of hoop earrings.  I remember them being gold and tiny but they were HOOPS and I was thrilled!  I felt like such a "big girl" wearing a pair of hoop earrings because after all, that is what all of the big girls were wearing.
