Have you shopped Forever 21's "contemporary" collection?! If not, I definitely recommend that you check it out. The pieces are chic and super affordable...not to mention, the quality is great too. This tie front shift dress is a piece that I found in our local store, which I'm thinking must have been a popular piece because it sold out so fast!
You may be thinking..."I'm too old to shop at Forever 21"...something I have thought many times but I must say, when I'm in the store and I see women of all ages shopping there, I stop questioning and start shopping. Hi everyone...TGIF! It's been a short work week for me but a long week in general so I am thrilled to have a 3 day weekend ahead. Most of our plans include hanging with family friends out by our pool. We are having a little heat wave here in Nashville so we are soaking up as much of the tail end of summer as we can. Today I am wrapping up a two week long series on Levi's denim! My experience shopping Levi's at Kohl's has been such a wonderful positive experience and I've truly enjoyed sharing my experience with you all. I not only found several pairs of jeans that I absolutely LOVE for myself, but I was also able to pick up a few pair for both Peter and Reins. Kohl's is a one stop shop to dress my entire family and I am so glad they are now carrying brands like Levi's.
I started the series off with the "boyfriend jean", moved onto a FAB "grey skinny jean", then welcomed the "bootcut jean" back into my life (glad to have them back), dressed Peter & Reins in the "511 & "514", and today I'm wrapping up with a light wash low rise "bootcut jean" (my second pair, as I mentioned, I'm glad they are back)!
I'll be living in jeans this Fall/Winter and I couldn't be more thrilled to have added several pairs of comfortable chic pairs of Levi's to my wardrobe. I hope you will also take the time to find yourself a great pair of Levi's from Kohl's. We are half way there my friends! I think it is totally appropriate to start a count down for the weekend now, don't you?! Whose counting down with me?
Can we just pause and soak up all of this serious cuteness right now?! I'm just a little biased (well, A LOT really) but I can't handle how fly Reins is looking in his 511 Levi's jeans that I picked up for him at Kohl's. Because I had such a positive experience shopping for myself, I decided to shop for Reins & Peter too! The pair that Reins is wearing are the perfect wash and they are super soft too. MOM'S, they have the adjustable tabs too, which is so key for those little ones with tiny little waists!
Peter is wearing the men's 514 jeans and I think I may have just found his new favorite pair! They fit really well and just like every other pair of Levi's...they are soft and comfortable too.
Kohl's is now carrying Levi's jeans for the entire family...the only size that they do not carry is for Toddler girls. With Fall right around the corner, it is never to early to prep your family with the perfect pair or pairs of jeans and I'm certain that Levi's has you covered.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Reins had his first soccer game and he did such a great job. He absolutely loves playing sports so he was thrilled to get back into the season and of course we love watching him too. The majority of our weekend was spent outdoors...trying to hang onto every ounce of daylight we can get before it starts getting dark TOO early. As much as I love Fall, I'm not quite ready for it to start getting dark at 5:30. Hope you all had a great weekend as well!
I've been rounding up my favorite pairs of Levi's denim that I recently picked up atKohl'sand today I am talking about the524 Bootcut Jean. I used to ONLY wear bootcut jeans, before I learned to love skinny jeans, and for a period of time after falling in love with skinny jeans, I didn't wear any bootcut's at all. I'm so glad to be back in the groove with a great bootcut jean...I missed them! I've always loved how bootcut jeans elongate my legs...after all, I am only 5'4'' so I need all of the help that I can get. When I tried on these 524's at Kohl's I immediately fell in love...they fit my shape so well (I'm a woman with some hips and bootay!), they are the perfect length, and they are beyond comfortable! As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, comfortable jeans are a MUST for me and these passed the test with flying colors!

With Fall right around the corner, it was time for me to go through my closet and evaluate my denim lineup. As you know, shopping for jeans can either be a great experience or well you know...not so great. Unless you have a very specific brand that you wear and don't venture far from that brand, it takes time and effort to find those perfect pairs of jeans
I've personally been on the unpleasant side of jeans shopping many times...they are too tight, they sit too low/high on my waist, they dig into my stomach, they are too stiff, they have too much stretch, they aren't comfortable, they are uncomfortable when I sit, they make my hips look big, they make my butt look big, they are too expensive, etc etc. If the stars don't align and the jeans just aren't fitting (or they fit but cost a small fortune), I end up getting frustrated and leaving the store empty handed.
That's why I am so exited that Kohl's is now carryingLevi's jeans! The very first pair of Levi's that I bought was in New York City 2 years ago when I was there for a girls weekend. We visited a Levi's store and I had the best time trying on various styles/fits (and their customer service was excellent). I left New York with my first, and until most recently, my only pair of Levi's jeans. As much as I love shopping at Kohl's, I was thrilled to find out they are now carrying Levi's...FINALLY, I own more than 1 pair of these comfortable AFFORDABLE jeans. Kohl's has an amazing selection of women's Levi's (they carry men's & children's too) and I had the best time trying on all of the different styles/washes/fits, etc.
The first pair I tried on were these boyfriend jeans! At first I wasn't sure if I would be able to wear this style/fit because I am only 5'4"and I always thought they would make me look short & squatty but when I put them on, I quickly realized that I could definitely wear a boyfriend jean. They are so super comfortable and they hug all of the right places too! Don't mistaken boyfriend jeans as the outcast...if you haven't given them a try, you definitely should! Kohl's also carries them in a darker wash, which I am now wanting to go back and get because I love these so much.
I'm going to be sharing more about the other Levi's styles that I selected throughout the next week and I would love to hear your thoughts or any feedback on the Levi's styles/fits that you may have tried!
