Freshening Up My Beauty Routine with NuFACE

NuFACE Mini Tone, Glow & Go Collection

I've recently been introduced to the NuFACE Mini Toning device through the Glow & Go Collection and I've got to say that I now can't imagine not using this as part of my regular beauty routine.  I had previously heard great things about it and even have some friends who use it but I wasn't sure that I would benefit from a facial toning device...boy was I wrong!

I realized the importance of taking care of my skin in my 20's and as the years have passed, I've put even more emphasis on my personal skin care routine.  Over time, I've also noticed that my skin isn't as full or firm as it used to be.  Lucky for me, the NuFACE Mini Toning device has help me target those areas that are a little less firm/defined such as my cheeks, jawline, and chin.  After several uses, I am definitely noticing a difference and to be honest, I'm HOOKED!

The NuFACE mini uses microcurrent technology to gently stimulate your skin providing a quick and easy 5-minute facial lift.  After using it, my skin feels much more toned, firm, and defined.

What I love most is that it only takes 5 minutes and this kit is easy to pack up and take with you.  You can use your NuFACE anywhere...at home, on vacation, in the car, etc.  I'll personally be carrying mine with me when we travel to Anguilla in April!

Vera Bradley Launches A Fragrance & Beauty Line

In efforts to become more of a lifestyle brand, Vera Bradley is doing some AMAZING things right now that are grabbing the attention of many!  Just last week, on January 14, 2016, Vera Bradley launched their new fragrance and beauty line and I'm here to tell you that they have outdone themselves.  I hosted a girls night in last Thursday to introduce the new line to several of my girlfriends and I know they were all very impressed as well!

Vera Bradley released 4 different scents...Cotton Flower, Macaroon Rose, Appleberry Champagne, and Vanilla-Sea Salt.  They all smell so good but my FAVORITE scent is Appleberry Champagne...what can I say, I'm a more fruity girl!  I also really love Macaroon Rose!

Each scent comes in an Eau de Toilette, a hand cream, a body lotion, a body wash, a scented candle in a glass jar, & a scented candle in a tin.  The hand cream's and Eau de Toilette's are also available in 1 ounce, 4 ounce, and 15ml sizes, which is perfect for traveling.  And the packaging is just beautiful...vibrant, colorful, and so appealing to the eye!

AND what I think you will love most is that each piece within their entire line is under $50!  So not only can you treat yourself but you can also buy items from their line as gifts for others.  Birthday, house warming, Valentine's Day, etc...perfect for just about any gift giving occasion really.  If you aren't sure which scent someone would like, a candle would be an excellent option and so would the 4 piece Eau de Toilette spray set!

Fight the Aging Process with Nerium

Okay folks, let's get real.  I'll admit it, yes, I watch Dr. Phil and he is always telling people to "get real" so today, I am taking his advice, getting real, and discussing the aging process.

I wouldn't consider myself a spring chicken anymore...I'm no longer in my 20's, in fact I'm well into my 30's (gasp...that sentence took my breath away just a little) but I've totally embraced these years and they have been some of my best and most memorable years yet.

I've definitely become more wise over time and taking care of my skin has become so much more important to me.  AND because I have given my skin lots of TLC over the years, I've been able to slow down the aging process and improve my skin over time.

I'm sure many of you can recall baking in the sun (without sunscreen...double GASP there)...I know I am guilty (two hands raised here and head down in shame).  There was a period of time in my 20's when my face was spotted with melasma (dark spots, discoloration, etc) and the fine lines began to show.

It was at that time in my life when I realized that I needed to make a change for the better.  Sunscreen every day, no baking in the sun, wearing a hat and sunglasses when outdoors, etc.  I also began trying various skincare products to see what worked best for me.  

Today, I am sharing a bit about my experience with Nerium.  I've heard about Nerium for a couple of years but never branched out to try it simply because I was already invested in another skincare routine.

When Nerium reached out asking if I would like to try their products, I immediately said YES, OF COURSE!  I'd been hearing some great things about Nerium and I was excited to try their products for myself.  Hearing from others that they had a positive experience certainly drew me in and I was more than willing to give their products a try.  I was also intrigued to learn more about their proprietary ingredient, NAE-8® extract.

MY REGIMEN

I received the Age-Defying Night & Day Creams as well as the Firming Body Countoring Cream and I've been using all 3 products for several weeks now.  It's important to note that I used the Nerium products in conjunction with a different face wash, toner, etc.

In the short period of time that I have been using their products, I have noticed an improvement in my fine lines and overall texture/tone of my skin.

The creams absorb quickly and have left my skin feeling soft and hydrated.  Something that I also really liked was that a small amount goes a long way so you can stretch the product out.

Overall, I have been pleased with my Nerium products and appreciate you all allowing me to share my experience with you.
