Glowing Skin with Sephora inside JCPenney

Getting that beautiful glow isn't always easy and sometimes we need a little extra help!  My skin has been rather dull lately and a bit dry from the summer heat and I've been wanting to try some new products that would help me achieve beautiful, healthy glowing skin.

I recently teamed up with Sephora inside JCPenney at our Mt. Juliet, TN location to experience a skin makeover and to learn more about how superfoods, like Argan nut, can play a beneficial role in our skincare routines and our overall skin health.

Having access to a Sephora store inside JCPenney is so convenient and their staff is very knowledgeable about the variety of skincare products that they offer.  You can also sit down with a Sephora beauty expert and have them educate you about the various skincare lines that they carry and even give you your own skin makeover!

I met with Katie, Area Education Manager, for Sephora inside JCPenney and we spent a couple of hours together...she taught me more about several Josie Maran products and how they can help improve my skin health and give me a healthy glow.

One of the first products that she used was the Josie Maran Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist.  She cleansed my skin and then sprayed the Nirvana mist all over my face.  It's great for most skin types and it is intended to hydrate your skin and set your makeup.  You can also use it throughout the day to refresh your skin!  It was light and felt amazing on my skin!

She then used the Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil, which is great for dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.  It is 100% natural, organic, and antioxidant-rich...a true superfood for your skin.  My skin just soaked the Argan oil in and left it with a beautiful glow.  A little bit goes a long way so you don't need to use much.  It is also great for your hair and nails!  This is by far one of my favorite products that Katie used!

Before applying foundation, Katie applied the Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm.  The balm can be used as a makeup primer and it goes on smoothly, is lightweight, helps set your makeup, and it gives your skin a beautiful radiant glow.

My skin feels clean, hydrated, soft, and it definitely has a gorgeous natural glow!  We finished my look with Josie Maran's Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation Fluid.  It gave me a silky smooth flawless finish!  What I love most about this foundation is that it has pure Argan oil in it and it leaves my skin looking radiant with a beautiful healthy glow!

My makeover gave my skin new life...it felt refreshed and I definitely achieved a very healthy glow.  I'm excited to continue using my new Josie Maran products!

My Journey with SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

Transformations don't happen overnight, they take time and they take effort.  Many of you know that I have been on a journey since the beginning of this year...a journey focused on my overall health and well-being.  This journey has included a physical, mental, and emotional change...a change for the better.

St. Tropez Pro Light Spray Tanning Device - Review with QVC

St. Tropez Pro Light Spray Tanning Device

Summer is upon us and so is sun kissed skin.  As much as I love having a summer glow, I'm also very protective of my skin and prefer not spending too much time in the sun.  Getting a spray tan is a great way to achieve a sun kissed look.

When QVC asked me to try the St. Tropez Pro-Light Portable Spray Tan Device, I was immediately intrigued and excited to give it a try.  I've always thought about buying my own spray tanning device to allow for in-home spray tanning.  Owning your own spray tanning device allows you to achieve a beautiful glow without having to go to a salon and pay the expense of having someone else airbrush your tan.

The main reason I never invested in my own spray tanning device was because I was afraid that it would be too complicated to use or I wouldn't use it correctly.  What I love most about the St. Tropez Pro-Light device is how easy it is to use!  My fears of a tanning device being too complicated were put to rest after using this for the first time!

The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow.  Once you have your device set up, which takes only a couple of minutes, you can get started with achieving a natural looking glow.  At first I wasn't sure if I would be able to spray tan myself, but with a little practice, it was so easy to do.  I did have to have a little help when spraying my upper and lower back but I was able to spray all other areas myself.  I also love that I can just spray my legs, arms, and chest if I just want a bit of added color for an event, night out, or particular outfit that I may be wearing.

I recommend that you purchase the device with two "bronzing mists", which is all you truly need to get started.  The kit also comes with prep instructions and offers recommendations on how to prep your skin for your spray tan and how to maintain it as well.  Before I sprayed myself, I laid down a dark towel to stand on and removed anything right around me that could possible get any mist on it.   Because you will hold the device only about 6 inches away from your body, you shouldn't get the mist anywhere else but you will want to make sure you protect your floors and spray yourself in a ventilated area.

The device is super light and easy to maneuver around your body.  I also love that it has a heating option that you can turn on to help dry your tan immediately after spraying yourself.

Overall, if you have thought about or are thinking about owning your own spray tanning device, I highly recommend the St. Tropez Pro-Light portable spray tanning device available on QVC.
