I have been obsessing over light weight sweater cardis lately and this Apt. 9 Dolman Sweater from Kohl's has easily become one of my favorites.  The fit, the quality, the shape, & the color are just a few things that make this sweater one of my favorites.  Pairing this sweater with bright whites gives this look a fresh and crisp feel.  And the accessories, like this GORGEOUS statement necklace from Metal Marvels, add pops of white throughout as well to tie it all together.

You MUST grab this sweater before they sell out…I think I may have to pick up this sweater in "cinder" as well.  It is so versatile and perfect to carry you from season to season..wear it now with jeans and later over a sundress!

Victoria shared a "secret" with me some years ago and I'm just going to have to keep that secret now…lips are sealed about how long I have had this dress!  This dress and I have had a good run and I don't see it ending anytime soon…a beautifully made classic sweater dress can see you through many date nights, especially special dates on Valentine's Day.

This year, I am adding some absolutely beautiful statement earrings from Emma Joy to the story of this dress.  These two were just meant to be and I feel Valentine's Day date night ready in this look.

Speaking of secrets, I am secretly BEYOND EXCITED to see "50 Shades of Grey" when we go out for Valentine's Day.  Eeekkk…I am blushing pink over here just mentioning this movie, haha!  Is anyone else as excited as I am?!

I shot this look around the time that I was planning to launch my blog, which dates back to the middle of November 2014.  I love this outfit and didn't mean to overlook it, but with being new to blogging at the time & figuring out weekly blog posts, etc, this outfit never made it to the blog until today.  Oooopppsss!

This look felt simple, feminine, easy to wear, and comfortable.  With Valentine's Day right around the corner…this look, or similar to it, is perfect for a date night, girls night out, or anything in between especially if you aren't a big fan of piling on the traditional shades of pink or red!

Tulle skirts have quickly become a closet staple and although this (LCLaurenConrad for Kohl's) tulle skirt is no longer available, there are so many other beautiful, and affordable, options out there.  Picking a neutral color like ivory or black will ensure that you get a lot of wear out of your tulle skirt from season to season!

This is one of a few Valentine's Day inspired outfits that I will be sharing with you and what I love about this look is the bright pink top and the cream lace skirt paired together.  This LCLaurenConrad for Kohl's lace skirt is so feminine and girly and it is currently on sale for $20 (larger sizes available).  Wearing pink this time of year makes me happy and I love every shade of pink, pink, pink!  Although this top was a summer find, when paired with a blazer, it became the perfect piece to complete this February look!

Floral…stripes…organza…bright bold colors…it doesn't get any more perfect than this Target Xhilaration skirt!  I love this skirt for now, for later, for everything in between and know that I will get a lot of wear out of it.  What's even better…this is a gorgeous skirt, great quality, for a VERY affordable price…only $22.99.  Great pieces don't have to cost a fortune and sometimes they show up right in front of you while doing your grocery shopping in Target!  Not to mention, this skirt is perfect for a little pattern play too!
