Neon

How fab is this neon green leather mini skirt?!  I ran into this babe at T.J.Maxx and couldn't resist, she was calling my name (kinda like those Pier 1 commercials if you know what I mean).  I immediately thought about all of the fun things we would do together and knew we would become best friends.  I love feeling a bit more edgy from time to time and this look definitely made me feel that way.  Wearing a flowy crop top and a black faux leather moto jacket seemed to be the best way to style this gorgeous skirt first but I also plan to pair the skirt with tights, sweaters, boots, etc for the colder months to come.  Of course come summer, I have a totally different vision for her!  So needless to say, you will be seeing much more of this skirt!

Oh and these earrings and shoes…swooning over both!  The earrings are from SoCal Gems and the shoes are Rock & Republic for Kohl's.  These earrings are so gorgeous and I find myself picking them up often to wear with a variety of things!  I came across these shoes while shopping around at Kohl's and couldn't pass them up as they were only $19.99…what a bargain!!!

p.s don't forget to let your outer beauty be an accessory to your inner sparkle!

Target Top 3 Ways

Boo

My shoot with Boo at Ellington Farms was so much fun.  I have a little obsession  with animals and horses have always amazed me with their strength, grace, and beauty.   I always tell my Hubby that one day we will live on a farm and have a brood of animals, horses included (this will probably never happen but one can dream).

This dress has made it through two pregnancies (before & after and no, it is not a maternity dress) and I have a feeling that this dress with have a place in my closet for years to come.  I accessorized this outfit with a couple of gorgeous Wrenn Jewelry pieces as well as my Alex & Ani bangle stack.  Paired with these amazing Francesca's Collection boots and my go-to fringe bag from Target.

Faux Leather, Floral, and stripes

Feeling a little rocker chic in this look although I am so far from the "rocker" part.  These faux leather leggings are so comfortable (after all, I would live in leggings all day every day if I could) yet they are also chic.  This high-low floral tunic top from Forever 21 was perfect to pair with these leggings (plus it covered my tush) and I added some edgy accessories like this jeweled spike necklace from Bauble Bar.  Not to mention…floral and stripes has been all the rage so of course I brought in some stripes with this clutch from Macy's.  These booties were a find from Target and I wear them ALL OF THE TIME…they go with everything, literally and took this look into slightly cooler weather with a light jacket.  The sunnies are from Charming Charlie and I love how dark they are…add a punchy lip and BOOM!

Carrie Bradshaw Moment

Her name is "Martha" and she makes me feel like Carrie Bradshaw when I wear her!  Seriously, I adore my "Martha" tulle skirt from Bliss Tulle.  This has been one of my most favorite outfits and I loved flouncing around in this skirt…it is so feminine, fun, and flirty!  I paired it with a crop top from Forever 21, a statement piece from Viva La Jewels, my favorite leopard clutch from Ceri Hoover Bags, and an adorable pair of ankle booties from Target.  I always wondered what it would be like to live in Carrie Bradshaw's shoes…even just for a day and I'm thinking she would dig this tulle skirt as much as I do!

Cheetah Skirt - Country Chic - Look 3

How could you possibly go wrong with a cheetah print maxi skirt and a chambray top and then finishing the look off with the most amazing cowgirl boots.  Every once in a while this Southern girl likes to dress country chic!
