We are back from vacation and settling back in!  After being gone for 10 days we are excited to be home and get back into our normal routines (not to mention, sleep in our own beds!).

I'm kicking off this week with an adorable teal GB (Gianni Bini) trapeze dress.  I LOVE Gianni Bini pieces, as they are always so colorful, and I happened to stumble upon this dress in the junior's department at Dillard's.  Don't knock it until you try it…you may just find a gem in the junior's department. ;-)  The trapeze style of this dress is perfect for a less structured, yet still polished, looked.  AND the styling possibilities are endless!  As much as I love prints, having some gorgeous solid colored pieces in your closet is essential and this dress comes in 3 other bright colors too.  It is super affordable so it will be hard not to pick one up in every color!

Happy Friday y'all!  We are still at the beach having a blast and will be heading to Charleston, SC this weekend for my brother's wedding.  It's been so nice to spend this past week at the beach with my Hubby's side of the family and we are excited to spend the upcoming weekend with my family too!  Hope you all have a great weekend as well!

Speaking of weddings, this gorgeous banded collar keyhole crossover dress from Pleated Empire would make quite the statement at any evening wedding.  It is silky, sexy (in a very subtle way) yet sophisticated and it has the most gorgeous sheen to it!  It has an abstract floral print (mainly black & white with a touch of blush pink throughout) that is unlike your traditional floral pattern and the dress has a tie waist that accentuates and flatters your figure. What I love most about this dress is that it is so different from any other dress that I own…the fit is super flattering and the material is just gorgeous.  

Although this dress is perfect for a wedding/special occasion, it is so perfect for so many other occasions too (date night, vacation, brunch, girls night out, etc) and I can even see myself wearing this into the Fall with a black faux leather jacket and some booties.  This dress can be as feminine or as edgy as you would like for it to be…versatility at its best! p.s for a sizing reference, I am wearing a "medium".

Hi everyone!  Normally I am soooo sad to see the weekend come to an end but we are on vacation so I am totally okay with today being Monday!  Now I just need time to slow down a bit so we can soak up every moment of our family vacation (which I wish NEVER had to end)!  Father's Day was great as we spent it here at the beach with my FIL and BIL as well.  Peter had the best day yesterday playing with our kiddos on the beach, relaxing, and having a home cooked meal (my MIL cooked for everyone last night and it was soooo good)!  Hope you all had a great weekend as well!

This season I've been seeing a lot of white in stores…white denim, white tops, white dresses, etc!  As much as I love how crisp and clean white is, I don't usually gravitate towards it because I have two little ones and let's face it, they are always touching/hugging/grabbing me with dirt, ketchup, paint, etc on their hands!  Two kiddos + anything other than clean hands = a recipe for disaster when wearing white.  However, I still wanted to find a white dress for summer that was casual enough to be worn with wedges/sandals yet dressy enough to pair with heels for date nights, dinners out with friends, events…you get the picture.  This dress immediately caught my eye.  I am a sucker for a drop waist dress (this fit isn't for everyone but I just happen to love it), I love the tank style & the gorgeous mesh-like overlay & I consider this dress to be super budget friendly…I think you'll agree.  Every woman should have a great white dress in their closet…the styling possibilities are endless.

Hi everyone!  Is it really Friday?  It is way past my bedtime...I think I am seeing double at this point but I still have so much to do.  This week flew buy…it was almost impossible to stop the train when we have been prepping for our family vacation at the beach this upcoming week.  Why is there always so much to do just to get ready for vacation?  Errands galore and not to mention, trying to get everything in order for Father's Day and my brother's upcoming wedding!  We are driving to our destination (8 long hours with 2 kiddos in tow) so please wish us luck!

For today's post, I am wearing this FAB FAB FAB black maxi dress from The Mint Julep Boutique.  This is not your traditional LBD…this is a statement making day to night dress!  The color is so rich and the fabric is soooo dreamy.  The back of this dress is subtly sexy and you can adjust the tie to show as much sun kissed skin as you would like.  Did I mention that it has pockets?!  IT. HAS. POCKETS!!!  I will wear any dress that has pockets!  This dress has seen a night out in Nashville dancing the night away with friends and it has also had several daytime dates too!  I'm not kidding when I say you will LOVE this dress and you will love the price too…it is ONLY $42, which I think is a total steal!  The Mint Julep Boutique has some of the cutest pieces for such affordable prices…I'm currently eyeing this dress!

Shoppable Looks with Stylinity

Hi everyone!  In today's post I am going to be talking about Stylinity, which is a platform of shoppable photos that anyone can use to share their individual style with their fans!  Yes, I said FANS!  You didn't know you had fans out there?  Well, I am sure you have always been told by others that you have great style or maybe you are constantly receiving the question…"where did you get that?"!

As a Blogger, I began using Stylinity as another outlet to create my own personal Lookbook and to be able to easily link & share shoppable items.  Outside of my blog, Stylinity has provided me with a second platform to share my style with others!  You can check out my "Lookbook" here!  I've also found their platform to be very user friendly…quickly becoming a go-to shopping destination.  It's so fun to see how so many other amazing women (and fellas too) are styling their personal looks as well!

Amazing Lace Metallic Polka Dot Top

Hi everyone!  Today, I'm excited to be sharing with you this adorable Amazing Lace "Metallic Polka Dot Bow Back" top.  This top has easily become one of my favorites this summer…it is like wearing air, it is so light.  The lightweight knit fabric is sheer but not sheer enough to see through…I'm wearing a strapless bra with this top but you can easily wear any nude bra and be just fine as well.  

There is just so much to love about this top…it is feminine, lightweight, the metallic polka dots add a beautiful touch, it has a high/lo hemline (shorter in the front than in the back), the neckline is gorgeous, & the bow tie on the back gives it such a nice girly touch!  I've worn this top several times already and every single time I am stopped and asked where I got it.  This top is sure to solicit lots of positive compliments…others love it just as much as I do!  I can even see myself wearing this top in the Fall with a lightweight leather jacket…gotta love pieces that can move with you from season to season.

Because this top is so feminine, I've added a couple of edgier accessories such as this Stella & Dot inspired necklace from Bib Jewelry, these Kendra Scott druzy earrings, and a large metallic fold over clutch!
