Oh this dress…how I LOVE this dress!  One morning I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and came across Avenle's post featuring this gorgeous hi-lo tunic dress.  Talk about meant to be.  I literally stopped all that I was doing and ordered this dress on the spot…I didn't need to "think" about it, I knew in that moment I had to have it.  Because this dress quickly sold out, there were others who were obviously thinking the same thing I was.  There is so much to say about this dress…to sum it up, it is the PERFECT dress that can be worn year round for so many different occasions.  Although Avenle has sold out of this dress, they have another very similar style linked above and I have also found what I consider to be two "spot on" styles that I have also linked above.

This dress will be so beautiful worn with bare minimum accessories (or even with no accessories, but instead a punchy red lip), however I chose to pile on some gorgeous gold pieces…black & gold is always a classic combo.  Speaking of accessories, I have to tell you about this AMAZING jewelry line called Wanderluster, a New York based design studio.  I am wearing their "Triple Strand Euphoria Necklace"…such a statement stunner.  Wanderluster's designs are visually stunning, edgy, unique, retro, bold, chic and each piece is constructed beautifully in a way that tells a story.  Their pieces are timeless and their collection exemplifies the perfect mix of bold statement pieces and edgy dainty pieces.  I'm a HUGE fan of their jewels and if you like pieces that are one of a kind, you will be too!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend!

Shop Suey Spring Bags

| Photos | Sweet Magnolia Photography

Spring is within reach…the sun will stay out a little longer each day, the trees will start to bloom, the temps will rise, and our wardrobe will change.  Transitioning into Spring style is easy by simply swapping out some of your accessories, including your handbags.  Today, I am sharing with you some of my favorite Spring bags from Shop Suey Boutique.

What I love about their bags is that they are high style for an affordable price…not to mention, the quality is excellent.  Because I like to swap out my handbags often, I am always on the lookout for gorgeous bags that will stay within my budget.  From totes, to satchels, to clutches…Shop Suey Boutique has a great selection that fits all tastes.

Although the tote that I am showing in this post is no longer available, there is a a very similar style available here and it is gorgeous!  AND, I have to tell you that the sequin floral clutch is KILLER!  You can't tell from the photo above, but this entire clutch is covered in sequins…stop what you are doing and grab yours now…this clutch is nothing short of AMAZING!  I have also gone ahead and linked some other swoon worthy Spring favorites below!

Which bag is your favorite?!

Flouncy Floral

| Shop the Post

Floral Skirt: Macy's (similar here & here) | Faux Leather Jacket: Dillards (similar here) | Crochet & Lace Sweater: LCLaurenConrad for Kohl's (old) (similar here) | Druzy Jewels: Wrenn Jewelry (use code "kbstyled" for 15% off your order)

I have a thing for flouncy maxi skirts and a thing for floral patterns…put the two together and you'll catch me wearing it!  Although this floral maxi skirt was a sale purchase from Macy's (gosh I love a good sale find, don't you?) I have linked a couple of others that are similar above.  Pairing this maxi with a light crochet lace cream sweater and a faux leather jacket, which adds a little edginess, tied this look all together.  AND of course I had to pile on my Wrenn Jewelry druzy jewels because frankly, I'M OBSESSED!

After all of the ice/snow that we have had this week in Nashville, I am more than ready for some warmer weather…at least temperatures above freezing!  I am totally daydreaming of Spring days…days where the sun sets later and my clothes are much lighter, much like this beautiful light flowy floral kimono from Patterns & Pops.

What I adore about this kimono is that it is a perfect transitional piece that can be worn with jeans throughout the Spring months and it can later be worn throughout the Summer months over a romper, denim shorts & a tank, or even over your favorite swimsuit.  I also love the subtle colors of this stand out floral print, the high low hemline, and the beautiful lace trim around the sleeve and hemline.  It is chic, fun, flirty, and a must have piece for Spring/Summer 2015.  If you haven't thought about a beautiful kimono for the warmer months, I definitely recommend it, especially this one!

When thinking of dressing for Spring, I also think about bright punchy colors so I have chosen to accessorize this look with a mint colored envelope clutch from Pink Brix.  It adds the perfect pop of color to complete this Spring ready look!

Blogger Spotlight: Alina of The Closet Crush

WELCOME ALINA!

I am so thrilled to welcome Alina to KBStyled!  She is the Owner and Editor of the personal style & beauty blog, The Closet Crush.

Alina was one of the first Bloggers that I began to follow when I started my blogging journey.  Connecting with other Mom's in the fashion blogging world has been amazing and she is one of the most adorable fashionable Momma's that I've met.  Alina has a way with color, textures, and accessories.  Her looks are colorful, trendy, and fun!  She doesn't stray away from pairing a fun funky piece with a more streamlined piece as well.  Adding a pop of color to any outfit is something she does so well and I love that she rocks a red or pink lippie with many of her looks.

Not only does Alina's style make a statement but her kind genuine personality does as well.  She is one of the sweetest most supportive Bloggers that I know and she is smart too!  Alina is the total package!

Read our interview below to learn more about Alina…a Wife/Mom, a Fashion Blogger, and an Esquire…I told you she was the total package!  A special thank you to Alina for being a part of today's post on KBStyled!

Tell me a little bit about yourself and your blog!
I'm 25 years old, married and have a baby boy that is almost 1 year old! I've always always had a passion for fashion.  Something that always made me feel better was retail therapy! I also always loved to help people shop for themselves if they needed help looking for something or if it was me just going and getting it for them! I had a blog about a year and a half ago but it was nothing compared to what I'm doing now.  I love styling pieces together and letting people know where to get the cheapest thing around! I've also created and designed the entire layout of my blog myself - maybe you can tell if it looks mediocre =)

Who or what has influenced your style most?
I mostly looked at magazines to catch a glimpse of what is trending now. Once I got hooked on Instagram last year, I started following several blogs from amazing, talented girls that I keep up with routinely! They include: Pink Peonies, The Sweetest Thing, Southern Curls and Pearls and A Spoonful of Style.

What is your style motto?
It doesn't matter who you are wearing, it matters how you style it.

What 1 word describes your style?
Ah this is hard - trendy?

There are so many influential fashion Designers…if you could wear the clothes of one Designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?
Haha I know this isn't answering it but everything from Forever 21 and designer of handbags and shoes - Tory Burch.

What is your favorite article of clothing?
Boyfriend button up - goes with everything.

What would we find hiding in your closet?
This amazing skirt that I bought from Forever 21 about 5 years ago that I wore but doesn't fit me anymore. I wore it once, but I can't seem to find it in me to let it go!!

What beauty product would we always find in your beauty bag?
Blush and bronzer!

Tell us one thing we wouldn't know about you?
I just passed the NYS bar exam and was just admitted!!! Woohoo!

What one piece of advice would you give to someone considering starting their own blog?
Do it!! It is so much fun, but will take hard work, dedication and time. Although many people think that it is easy to just post an outfit and link up the products, it can get super time consuming almost like a second job. Aside from my family and my full-time job, this is what I do and almost feel like it's a part-time job slowly growing into full-time.  But I love it and will keep going!

Gummy bears or sour patch kids?
Sour Patch

If you had to estimate, how many pairs of shoes do you have?
Over 40

What 3 words would you use to describe your closet?
Crowded, colorful and trendy!

Pucker Up With Super-Lube

| Product Review| Super-Lube by Merle Norman

| Photos | Sweet Magnolia Photography

I was introduced to Super-Lube about 10 years ago and it quickly became my all time favorite lip "lube"!  For so many years (from early in my childhood really), I had a terrible habit of picking dry skin off of my lips…sometimes I would pick and pick until my lips were raw and scabby.  I couldn't control my impulses to pick off dry skin…I know I know, what a GROSS habit to have but it was real and it was a habit that I JUST COULD NOT BREAK!

Needless to say, when working in the fashion industry (my first job after graduating college), several of my co-workers began to notice that I would pick my lips when working or even during meetings.  Soooooo embarrassing but I wouldn't even know that I was doing it!  My family members had been encouraging me for YEARS to stop this terrible habit but nothing I tried worked.  Thankfully one of my co-workers approached me and mentioned that I should try "Super-Lube" as other lip balms/chapsticks just weren't doing the job of keeping my lips moisturized.  She had been using "Super-Lube" for years and in fact, she uses hers as an all over moisturizer.  That same day I found a local Merle Norman and rushed out to buy some…my affection for this product began on that day!

I began to apply "Super-Lube" regularly and although it took a ton of willpower to keep from picking my lips, I noticed a huge difference in the texture and smoothness of my lips.  This product worked wonders on my dry, chapped, flaky, and sore lips!  Not only did I begin using this on my lips but I also began using it as a moisturizer for my face as well, especially during the dry winter months.

"Super-Lube" is INCREDIBLE and I love the pink tint and subtle scent as well.  If you have dry skin on any part of your body, this will work wonders for you.  Try it on your lips first and before long, you will be lathering it all over…it is simply AMAZING!

Wishing you all a Happy Valentine's Day, xoxo!

When hanging at a farmhouse...

| Shop the Post |

Sweater (use code "KBSTYLED" for a discount) | Jeans (similar here) | Boots (oldies but goodies, similar here) | Sunglasses | Ring | Ear Jackets | Necklace & bracelet (stay tuned for exciting news being released on 2/17!)

| Photos | LMR Photos

Long, cozy, comfortable, sweater cardigans are perfect for hanging at cute, quaint, whimsical farmhouses.  Honestly, this Viva la Jewels sweater is one of the most comfortable sweaters that I own.  The pictures truly don't do this sweater justice…the quality, colors, and fit are just a few things that keep me grabbing for it almost every weekend.

The jewels that I paired with this sweater bring out the slight aztec pattern and per usual, they add a little edge as well.  I absolutely adore these Emma Joy ear jackets and this dainty LCLaurenConrad for Kohl's ring.  Not to mention I love the spike detail of this necklace and the bronzed rhinestone detail of the bracelet (you will have to stay tuned for some exciting news about both of these pieces)!
